Learning & Development Manager – Renewable Energy Executive Search - London (Internal Vacancy)


Here at Mint Selection we are growing our Leadership Team with an experienced and motivated Learning & Development Manager who will lead our graduate training program and act as the continuous improvement manager at all levels throughout the business.


Who are we? Mint Selection is an independent, specialist recruitment consultancy supporting a range of clients across the Renewable Energy spectrum; Investment Managers, Project Developers, Venture Capital funds and Clean Technology R&D platforms.


We work closely with business leaders, representing the most dynamic and growth-oriented companies in our market; acting as a trusted advisor to many of the renewable energy and clean technology industries’ most high-profile talent. We have tripled our headcount in the last 12 months and are continuing to expand our team with a fast growth trajectory.


Learning & Development Manager Key responsibilities:

  • Reviewing our existing Graduate Training program and re-designing it to become best in class.

  • Working with the leadership to re-define our gold standardat various experience points throughout the business.

  • Running the Training program for all new starters, whether graduate program for those entering the industry or our ways of workingfor experienced consultants.

  • Taking a lead role in continuous improvement whether it be processes, systems, targets.

  • Acting as a career coach and mentor throughout the organisation helping to enable consultants to become market experts in their specialised areas.

  • Oversee KPIs and establish a competitive, target-driven environment.

    Monitor and Improve performance

    through creative methods and incentives

  • With the support of Operations and Marketing, help to develop our candidate and client facing tools and documentation.

  • Where appropriate, attending

    advanced courses to continually develop and improve our training programmes


Learning & Development Manager Key Experience/Attributes:

  • 4+ years in

    Recruitment/Executive Search

  • Progressed to Management-level

    within a previous role

  • Experience training and developing a growing team

  • Experience working with a team with a

    range of abilities

  • A dynamic

    individual who can motivate and develop a positive, target-driven environment.

  • Performance-driven

  • Ability to develop an impressive Graduate Training program

  • Bachelors degree (not essential)


This opportunity will give you autonomy to lead a team, whilst developing and implementing your own Training Program. You will take overall responsibility for this new section of the business driving standards, performance, and overall success for a growing team of dynamic, young consultants.
