About the company:
Our client is a growing renewable energy company. They are a young and successful organisation with a proven track record in Europe. They focus on value creation by developing and acquiring projects between early- to late-stage development and in some cases also operating assets.
Our client develops, builds and operates wind farms in Sweden, the Netherlands, Germany and Poland. An operational portfolio of approx. 100 MW is in commercial operation. A development portfolio of approx. 500 MW is continuously being expanded through acquisitions and the establishment of their own projects.
Recently they have acquired their first ready-to-built, standalone BESS project in Denmark, further BESS project acquisitions in the Nordics are soon to be added to the portfolio and will be added to some Polish BESS projects originated by their Polish team.
Your responsibilities and tasks:
As the BESS Project Manager you will have the responsibility to independently manage the execution of our client's BESS projects and to coordinate the different external partners engaged in supply and service contracts. The focus will be on the Nordics BESS projects in the next years, supporting the Polish team in advancing the Polish BESS projects.
· Overall project steering from acquisition to commissioning and operation
· Monitoring and controlling of timeline, budgets, interfaces and processes
· Execution, steering and controlling of supply and service contracts
· Steering 3rd party consultants (as required)
· Support negotiations of procurement contracts together with the procurement manager
· Supporting claim negotiations
Your profile:
· Solid knowledge and experience in (renewable) project management – BESS experience is a clear bonus
· 3-5 years working experience in a comparable position
· Degree in engineering, renewable energies, business administration, economics or comparable studies
· Performance and solution orientation, taking ownership
· A flexible team player with very good interpersonal and communication skills who can maintain both a positive attitude and high level of performance
· Fluent in written and spoken English, preferrable also Danish language skills
· Willingness to travel on a regular basis
