FP&A Associate – FP&A & Analytics

A fast-growing, Berlin-based transport decarbonisation platform is hiring an FP&A Associate to strengthen its core finance and analytics capability.
The business is building one of Europe’s largest bioenergy infrastructure networks and is scaling rapidly across operations and M&A. This role sits close to the CFO and senior leadership, offering exposure well beyond a typical junior FP&A position.
What You’ll Do
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling at group level
- Deliver commercial and performance analysis to support strategic decisions and M&A
- Prepare management, board, and investor reporting
- Own variance and trend analysis across the business
- Contribute to analytics and reporting initiatives, including dashboards and operational insights
- Support ad-hoc finance, strategy, and process improvement projects, including emerging AI-enabled use cases
What We’re Looking For
- Strong financial fundamentals and FP&A understanding
- Advanced Excel skills (model-building from scratch)
- Analytical, structured thinker comfortable with ambiguity
- Experience in FP&A, finance, consulting, audit, or transaction services
- Fluent English (German a plus, not essential)
- Interest in data, analytics, and technology-driven problem solving
