Delivery Director UK – International Power and Energy Generation
Delivery Director sought by fast growth International Power/Energy Project Developer, Owner, and Operator. You will be a proven leader and have a strong track record of personal accomplishment at senior levels in the energy sector, ideally with experience of working within energy segments such as Fast response, Battery Energy Storage, Complex On-Site Solutions, District Heating, Combined Heat and Power (CHP), Energy Centres +.
As Delivery Director you will be responsible for the delivery of highly complex Power Generation assets in a fast growth segment. Taking projects from the development team, you will manage through FEED, partner procurement and delivery up to the point of handover to O&M.
Delivery Director Key Responsibilities:
Establishing and the management of end-to-end programme delivery.
Leadership team accountability for CAPEX.
Run procurement processes to pick supply chain partners.
Spanning installation of the assets as well as point of connection to the grid, potential substation upgrades, private electrical networks, and other upgrades.
Establishing and then managing partnerships with partner organisations who are installing non-core infrastructure.
Manage land planning and permitting process including some land negotiations to gain access rights.
Working with OEM suppliers as partners through design and delivery stages.
Delivery Director Key Requirements:
10+ years’ experience in major project delivery of £20-50+M and CAPEX projects, (including UK experience).
Experience delivering new infrastructure.
Prior background in building diverse teams from scratch.
Ability to build new supply chains in immature markets.
Experience of being part of the bidding team.
