Contracts Engineer – Clean Energy Generation
Contracts Engineer sought by leading project developer pioneering the delivery of Energy Transition assets across the UK. The successful Contracts Engineer will take projects from the project development team, supporting the closure of contracts and managing them through construction and handover to operations.
Projects you will support include the UK’s largest Energy Storage Assets (+100MW), H2 Ready Thermal Power Plants and Green Hydrogen Electrolysis Assets. These projects will involve the installation of high value equipment, M&E and civils activity. The ideal Contracts Engineer will be comfortable overseeing risk and value management whilst driving the performance of sub-contractors and managing quality. A background in M&E, Renewables, O&G, Thermal power generation or other large-scale Infrastructure (Data Centres, Civil Infra etc) would be suitable.
Contracts Engineer key requirements;
- Proven track record delivering high value projects on time and to budget
- Contract negotiation / delivery experience – Assertive profile
- Experience supporting front end procurement / closing of commercial agreements a bonus
- Experience seeing these agreements through to fulfilment
- Experience working in a main contractor (preferred)
