Key Responsibilities:
Cost Management:
Monitor project costs from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring alignment with approved budgets.
Prepare and update cost plans, forecasts, and cash flows across multiple live projects.
Assist in the production of cost estimates and cost-benefit analyses for early-stage developments.
Contract Administration:
Support the negotiation, drafting, and administration of key project contracts, including EPC, civils, and balance of plant packages.
Monitor contract compliance, process variations, and manage change control in collaboration with the wider commercial team.
Assist with risk identification and mitigation from a contractual and commercial perspective.
Procurement Support:
Work closely with procurement and technical teams to review supplier bids and tender submissions.
Provide input into scope of works, contract terms, and pricing mechanisms during tender evaluations.
Valuation & Reporting:
Conduct monthly valuations, review contractor claims, and certify payments.
Assist in producing project cost reports and performance dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
Support financial reconciliation and project close-out processes.
Requirements:
3–5+ years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role within energy, construction, or infrastructure sectors.
Familiarity with NEC, JCT, or FIDIC contracts, ideally with exposure to EPC or similar design-and-build environments.
Comfortable working across multiple concurrent projects with a hands-on, proactive approach.
Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and commercial awareness.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline; working toward MRICS or equivalent preferred.
