About the Company

Our client is a rapidly growing provider of commercial & industrial (C&I) solar PV systems, helping businesses across Germany reduce carbon emissions and energy costs through onsite clean energy generation. The company designs, installs, and maintains rooftop and ground-adjacent solar PV systems for mid-sized and large energy consumers across sectors such as logistics, manufacturing, and retail.

Following strong growth and a healthy order book of projects ranging from 100kWp to 2MWp, they are strengthening their delivery team with the strategic hire of a Project Manager to oversee solar PV installation projects from contract handover through to commissioning.

The Role

This is a hands-on project delivery role with full responsibility for the execution of multiple solar PV projects across Germany. You’ll coordinate internal teams and external contractors to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget, ensuring a smooth experience for the client and optimal system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of rooftop and onsite solar PV projects (typically 100kWp–2MWp)

  • Coordinate permitting, technical planning, procurement, and construction activities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients during project delivery

  • Supervise installation teams and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with quality and HSE standards

  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and milestones, proactively addressing risks or delays

  • Prepare progress reports and manage documentation for internal and external stakeholders

Your Profile:

  • 3–7 years of experience managing construction or renewable energy projects, ideally rooftop solar PV

  • Background in electrical or civil engineering, construction management, or renewable energy

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across different regions

  • Familiarity with German construction laws, electrical safety codes, and permitting processes

  • Strong communicator in both German (B2+ minimum) and English

  • Willingness to travel nationwide to project sites as needed
