Head of Engineering and Project Delivery sought to join an ambitious Renewable Energy Investment Platform.
Our client have launched an investment platform, and in the past 12 months have taken sizeable stakes across the Renewable Energy Generation spectrum, and ambitions to acquire 2GW+ of assets by the end of 2025.
As the Head of Engineering and Project Delivery you would oversee the project delivery for a growing pipeline of renewable energy projects, including solar, onshore wind, offshore wind and battery storage.
Key responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Head of Development to ensure projects move seamlessly from the development phase into construction.
- Perform EPC cost estimating in support of proposals and project financial model development
- Co-ordinate with Commercial, Asset Management, and Engineering/Construction teams to establish requirements and set technical baselines
- Manage the execution of engineering and construction activities
- Work with engineers and EPC partners during construction and design phases
- Lead and oversee the execution of all post project activities, facilitating the transition to O&M / Asset Management teams.
- Lead Engineering and Construction team, helping to grow and scale the team to tackle rapidly growing project pipeline
- Protect commercial and contractual interests on the projects
