Commercial Manager – Renewable Power & Energy Transition Assets
Lead Commercial Manager sought by a prominent Clean Energy Project Developer pioneering the delivery of Energy Transition assets in the UK. The successful Commercial Manager will take projects from the project development team, supporting the closure of contracts and managing them through construction and handover to operations.
Projects you will support include the UK’s largest Energy Storage Assets (+100MW), H2 Ready Thermal Power Plants and Green Hydrogen Electrolysis Assets. These projects will involve the installation of high value equipment, M&E and civils activity. The ideal Commercial Manager will be comfortable overseeing risk and value management whilst driving the performance of sub-contractors and managing quality. Additionally, setting standards and driving the performance of the commercial team. A background in M&E, Renewables, O&G, Thermal power generation or other large-scale Infrastructure (Data Centres, Civil Infra etc) would be suitable.
Commercial Manager key requirements;
- Proven track record delivering high value infrastructure projects on time and to budget
- Contract negotiation / delivery experience – Assertive profile
- Previously led the commercial delivery of high value projects
- Experience supporting front end procurement / closing of commercial agreements
- Experience seeing these agreements through to fulfilment
- Experience working in a main contractor (preferred)
