Salary: Competitive day rate depending on experience
Contract length: 12–18 month contracts
Mint Selection is connecting with experienced Senior Authorised Persons (SAP) and Authorised Persons (AP) for contract opportunities across renewable energy and grid infrastructure projects. These positions will support the safe operation, isolation, and energisation of high and low voltage systems associated with substations, BESS, and renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities:
•Control and authorise safe access to HV and LV systems
•Issue permits, switching schedules, and isolation procedures
•Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and grid codes
•Support energisation and commissioning activities across project sites
•Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and network operators
•Maintain accurate operational and safety documentation
Experience & Qualifications:
•Previous SAP or AP experience within utilities, substations, or renewable energy projects
•Strong understanding of HV/LV systems and safe systems of work
•Experience supporting energisation and operational activities
•Relevant authorisations and certifications required
•Knowledge of renewable energy infrastructure advantageous
