Salary: Competitive day rate depending on experience
Contract length: 12–18 month contracts
Mint Selection is supporting renewable energy and power infrastructure projects and is seeking Electrical and Mechanical Technicians for contract opportunities. These roles will support installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting activities across solar PV, wind, substations, and battery energy storage projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot renewable energy equipment and systems
• Support inspections, testing, fault finding, and repairs
• Carry out preventative maintenance activities to minimise downtime
• Ensure works are completed safely and in line with project standards
• Maintain accurate maintenance and testing documentation
• Support commissioning and operational teams as required
Experience & Qualifications:
• Previous electrical or mechanical technician experience within energy, utilities, or infrastructure sectors
• Experience working on renewable energy projects preferred
• Understanding of maintenance, testing, and fault-finding activities
• Strong commitment to health and safety standards
• Relevant technical qualifications or certifications preferred
