Salary: Competitive day rate depending on experience
Contract length: 12–18 month contracts
Mint Selection is supporting battery energy storage and grid infrastructure projects and is seeking experienced Electrical Engineers for contract opportunities across BESS developments. These roles will focus on the design, integration, and delivery of battery energy storage systems connected to the grid.
Key Responsibilities:
Support electrical design activities for BESS projects and grid connected infrastructure
Review single line diagrams, protection schemes, and control systems
Coordinate with suppliers, integrators, and DNO or TSO stakeholders
Support grid compliance and connection activities for battery storage projects
Assist with commissioning, testing, and system performance optimisation
Ensure compliance with technical standards and project requirements
Experience & Qualifications:
Previous electrical engineering experience within BESS, renewable energy, or utilities sectors
Understanding of HV/LV systems, substations, and grid connection requirements
Experience supporting renewable energy or energy storage projects preferred
Strong technical coordination and reporting skills
Relevant electrical engineering qualifications required
