Salary: Competitive day rate depending on experience
Contract length: 12–18 month contracts
Mint Selection is seeking experienced Commissioning Engineers for renewable energy and grid infrastructure projects. These contract opportunities will support the testing, validation, and energisation of renewable energy systems across solar PV, substations, BESS, and wider power infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform functional testing and inspections across renewable energy systems
• Verify system performance against design and grid compliance requirements
• Support energisation and commissioning activities
• Document testing activities and support fault resolution
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and operational stakeholders
• Assist with final handover documentation and reporting
Experience & Qualifications:
• Previous commissioning experience within renewable energy or power infrastructure projects
• Understanding of testing procedures, grid compliance, and energisation activities
• Experience working with substations, protection systems, SCADA, or inverters preferred
• Strong technical troubleshooting and reporting skills
• Relevant engineering qualifications advantageous
