Business Development Executive - Green Hydrogen Infrastructure Platform

As a Business Development Executive you will be joining a growing team within a UK based Green Hydrogen supply and refuelling company. You will work towards delivering affordable and low carbon hydrogen for future mobility solutions and industrial applications. Want to decarbonise the transport sector? Well this is what our client is aspiring to do by providing clean fuels for Buses, Trains, HGV’s, Shipping, and the Automotive sectors. 

 

Joining a fast growth business, you will also be a part of a wider consortium of businesses working together to provide zero-emissions solutions. The consortium of businesses are involved in an end-to-end process from developing and operating the required energy infrastructure assets (Renewable Power Generation, Electrolysis plants) to the transportation and distribution of Green Hydrogen and the provision of turnkey, zero-emissions solutions - and you could be a part of all this!

 

Business Development Executive Responsibilities:

Reporting to the senior management, the successful Business Development Executive will work within the different sectors that our client deals with. You will be responsible for:

  • Assisting the team in managing and growing customer relationships

  • Supporting the development of commercial strategy

  • Assisting in managing business strategy and growth in the hydrogen sector

  • Researching, analysing and evaluating the mobility markets with developing needs to decarbonise and develop, launch and own business development activities. 

  • Negotiating business contracts and commercial terms in an end-to-end hydrogen ecosystem (including sourcing hydrogen and sale)

 

Business Development Executive Requirements:

  • 2 – 5 years commercial, business development or consulting experience

  • Strong interpersonal skills and business relationship skills 

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing 

  • Flexibility, adaptability and initiative 

  • Good commercial judgement 

  • A desire to decarbonise the various transport and mobility sectors.
