We're proud to announce that Mint Selection is a finalist for a WESCA 2026 award, in the People & Competency category.
WESCA stands for the World Energy Supply Chain Awards, run by the Energy Industries Council (EIC). It's now the largest energy awards programme in the world. 136 EIC member companies are entered in 2026, across 16 categories, which makes this recognition especially meaningful.
The nomination follows directly from our recent Survive & Thrive feature where we told the story of Mint Selection’s journey from a founder led recruitment business into an energy transition talent and advisory partner.
Charlie Giblin started Mint Selection in 2016, without external investment. From 2022, he built the systems, leadership and expertise needed to grow. The team's now 25+ people, supporting 200+ clients across Europe. Real growth, built without external investment.
Being finalists in the People & Competency category fits Mint Selection well. Our consultants pair search expertise with real sector knowledge, across offshore wind, storage, grid infrastructure and more. Statera Energy has worked with us since our first year of trading. They've grown to more than 200 people, with most of their hires coming through Mint Selection.
Winners are announced Thursday 29 October, at the London Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square. We're excited to see how the evening unfolds.
We're pleased to celebrate this with the whole Mint Selection team, and grateful to the clients and candidates who've put their trust in us.
